Look What I Can Do

Ethan is 8 months old and busy as can be with all sorts of new tricks! He started off 8 months by crawling on his knees. He quickly followed that by pulling up on furniture and now he is cruising. He also began waving. Sometimes, he will just sit and watch his hand as he waves and twists his wrists. It’s very cute!  He is a very happy baby and loves to explore. He likes for us to be near at all times. That makes it difficult to get things done, but we get a lot of baby bonding time! He is a super sweet boy and we are blessed!

My First Picnic

This past weekend we took Ethan on his very first picnic!  It was a little windy and quite cool so he stayed bundled the whole time.  He wasn’t really in the mood for photos… and he took a nap.  All in all, I think he had a blast and a successful first picnic.

My First Visit to DeRidder

Last weekend was full of first for this little man. His first visit to Gran and Grandaddy’s house, first visit to Catfish Hut (aka Best Salads Ever), and first Sunday morning at church (he got to wear his “fancy pants” his Gran bought for him). With so many firsts, we decided to have a little photo shoot to commemorate the occasion.

Day 18 – Well, the umbilical cord stub fell off so it is time for the first tub bath! He really seemed to enjoy the water. I was a little surprised with how calm he was… and how wavy his hair gets.

Day 8 – My sister, BIL (Brother-In-Law), and niece came to see Ethan. My sister and Abigail stayed for a few days to help bring a little sanity to those first crazy days. It was wonderful to have them around. The cousins were able to meet and the Aunts were able to bond!

Ethan Le Nguyen – The First Week

OK so it hasn’t been quite a week.  Ethan is 5 days old today!  It’s hard to believe so much has happened in just a few days.

Mommy’s First Baby Shower

YAY! My first baby shower! It was a morning filled with lovely people and lovely baby things! The lovely hostesses had beautiful decorations and WONDERFUL food. Brunch-slash-breakfast food is one of my favorites! Our friends and family have been SO generous with helping us get ready for little Ethan. We are truly blessed to have the love and support of so many!
