Merry Christmas

Recent Sighting!  We spotted this lil’ guy shuffling around the tree and then trying to make his break for the door until he realized he couldn’t yet crawl… he was, however, quite adept at sitting up.  When asked for the whereabouts of his jiggly accomplice, the young elf let out an abrupt “Gahh!” and then proceeded to drool profusely.

Dinner Time

At 4 months and 9 days, Ethan had his first meal from a spoon! He did so good! Well, I expected the spitting, weird faces, and fussing. But even with all that he still got several bites of cereal down. As you can see from the pictures, sweet red wubby was a huge help in dealing with this new experience.

At The Lewis’

After a fabulous Georgia family thanksgiving, we headed up to Amie and Rich’s new place. We had a wonderful time shopping and hanging out in her newly decorated awesome looking house!

We also got to meet up with the Cipollas for a while.  The last time we saw them we pre-giovanni… and I must say, he’s darn cute.  Sadly we didn’t get any pictures.  I guess we’ll just have to frequent their blog. :P

We had gorgeous weather that next day so we just had to take a few backyard pictures.

Thanksgiving With Family

Georgia.  Did you know we made it to Georgia and back with a 3.5 month old?  That’s something like… a bunch of hours away.  In over 1500 miles, we lassoed a good chunk of 4 states and a sliver of Florida.  Ethan slept most of the way there and back!  That’s quite a feat in my book (a book of feats… apparently).  He’s destined for great things.  I’m sure of it.  :)

We got to spend some time with family at Janis and Marvin’s for Thanksgiving.  It was my first time at their house so i got to experience a bit of Emily’s childhood as she went from room to room reliving her past.

As always we had great food and left with some new and wonderful memories.
