NguyenAndEmily Just Went Organic
So yeah I thought it would be fun to announce that NguyenAndEmily.com just officially got it’s first organic hit from a Google search… woohoo!
Although we’re not really intending for this site to perform in organic searches, I found it interesting so I thought I’d share. The part that stood out to me was the search term. Apparently one visitor searched for “naomi constantinescu” and landed on this site when it showed up on page #1 position #4. On that search N&E currently fluctuates between 3-5.
Maybe I’m the only one that finds that interesting. As a lot of you know, SEO/SEM is one of my interests.
what does it mean to be organic??? i am not very “web”smart!!
When referring to search rankings, you can separate the results into 2 categories… organic and paid. The latter is when someone paid to get the spot they are showing up in. For Google these are highlighted in peach up top and all of the links along the right side. The links landing on the “body” of the page are called organic and are placed there for free based on content.
i want to know more about the ultrasound…? I love and miss you guys…
